Start of the Exodus?? |

Reports in this mornings Sun that Brennan and Madden could be on the way to Bury and Higgins to Dundalk..at least that would free up money for 4/5 new signings to push on and win the league

Bound to happen. Surely Brennan is better than Bury.
Anyway so long as they don't go to those Wickla cunts that's the main thing

Killer and Madden would be massive losses IMO. Higgins doesn't really do enough for me. I think it's more imperative that we get the higher earners out, who also have been pretty injury prone over the last year or so - value for money???

I won't be sorry to see the back of Madden. Brennan I'd like to see stay.

Why?
It must be his lack of goals!

A lot of his goals have been soft ones against poor defences. His first in Bray came after a shocking miss and he wouldn't have got the second chance against a better team. Play Quigley up front on his own or with Cretaro and we'll soon forget about the sulky little shit. His attitude is what irks me most. It would take a hat trick against Rovers for me to change how I feel about him now.

He's always sulking. He wants the plaudits but he can't take the abuse. His brother was on facebook bitching about bonus's and one of his mates, possibly his brother or maybe himself (BohsEric) was on here personally abusing anyone who criticised him. Don't get me wrong, I'll be delighted any time he scores for us but it doesn't mean I have to like him and I don't see him as a loss if he goes. He's just another Gary O'Neil.

Good news getting some of them off the wage bill, killer will be a loss though.
As for the others, sayonara, don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.
Anyone fancy running Stephen Gray by the rendering factory next?

ppfff Gary O'Neill was never a goalscorer at Bohs, Madden is and would be a huge loss to the team.
I don't see Aaron Greene filling his boots anyway.

Yeah but O'Neill always scored against the weak opposition. There's just a lot more of it about these days.
Greene IMO is a better player than Madden. He hasn't had many starts due to injury but if he got a run I think we'd see his potential come to fruition. Still think it should by Quigs or Quigs and Raffa up front. Ease Greene in off the bench. Jayo will be fit eventually too so we'll have him to fall back on. We've too many strikers so we can afford to lose Madden.

Madden is the type of player we'll probably be looking for in the next few years who'll be young and be happy enough to take smaller wages. Whatever about the argument about if he should be starting up front now, most would agree he has the potential to get better. He could be an important player over the next few seasons and would be worth more in the transfer market later anyway. Having the ability to fire in goals against the likes of Dundalk, Bray or Drogs could make a difference soon enough. So I'd prefer to keep him for now (if we have the choice).

Madden would be a significant loss in the context of this season. Who else is scoring for us?
Brennan woudl be good business if we could get a fee. Plus I'm sure he's one of our bigger earners.
You don't want to lose any of your first teamers at anytime but needs must etc
Would have thought they would attract a bit better than Bury though. Having said that I'd wait until I actually see/hear of a firm offer.

Wouldn't think he's on big wages seeing as he's one of the new signings.
